Approximately  22 years ago, we started as a small family owned a brick and mortar business in Brooklyn New York. This is where we began making our hair and body care products. We were doing business in that location from 1997 to 2012 . We started making body and hair care in 2003. At that time our products were named after our store called  As Above So Below. Many people came from near and far to buy them, they loved the smells  and the way our lotions felt. Our customers would also come to stock up on their supply of hair products. There were testimonies of hair growth from using our  hair care products as well as others saying  that the lotions helped them to make new friends!

 

Although we no longer have a location in Brooklyn, we are now located on the World Wide Web as Love Is Essential. Despite the name change, we still use the same winning formulas in all of  our products.  

The name Love Is Essential came about because we decided as a family owned company, to be apart of the solutions and not the problems of the world. We want to add to the goodness of the earth! Our brand is designed to remind people that love is not a commodity,  it is truly essential! Our brand supports organizations that are helping people, places, and the environment!
